Despite the endless teasing, I’ve had a crush on Justin Timberlake ever since his *Nsync days. So when my sister Margaux (who’s studying fashion in New York) told me that he was having a concert in New Jersey, I was giddy with excitement and decided to take off for a few weeks and catch it.
After 20 hours on the plane, we drove straight from the airport to the concert venue. Once we got there, we had to wait another three hours in line in the freezing rain, but at least we got to see Cameron Diaz and Justin’s mom at the back entrance while they were smoking a ciggy.
The venue was really small since it was a club tour (similar to the old Dish in Power Plant) so a lot of girls were pushing and shoving their way to the front of the stage. My sister and I found a good, elevated spot near the bar. It wasn’t as close (about 10 feet away from the stage) but good enough because a lot of fights were breaking out on the floor and most of the girls were too tall for us to see over them.
An hour later, Mr. JT finally came out singing Cry Me A River and looking soooo H-O-T! The concert was fantastic and I couldn’t believe I saw him! All his new songs sound great—some super kilig and some great to dance to—and seeing Justin dance up close was sexier than I could have ever imagined. The highlight of the evening was when Timbaland came out and sang SexyBack with Justin and Promiscuous Girl. The concert wasn’t bitin at all, but maybe I was super tired na rin kasi so I was a bit glad it was over.

My perfect evening had a downside though. I snuck in my camera and security went up to me and took my memory card. Kainis! So all my nice photos and videos are gone! Good thing my sister had her camera so we took a few photos but they’re not as good since we were scared they’d confiscate it again.
It’s been a week since the concert and I still can’t believe I got to see my supercrush! I can imagine how excited everyone must be also since our very own Cosmo Bachelor Bash is coming up soon! I just wish I could be there to watch and scream with everyone. Hope you all have as much fun enjoying our local hotties on stage as I did watching Justin perform! :)
